Ancient superstitions have been supplanted with modern ones in the form of conspiracy.
Correlations of words and concepts reveal a strange relationship between both Superstition and Conspiracies. While it is important to retain a healthy curiosity and question things that might suggest irregularities or inconsistencies there is a point at which this type of thinking can sometimes lead to a form of paranoia, even nihilism.
Superstition: is the excessively credulous belief in and reverence in the supernatural. See Also: a belief or practice resulting from ignorance, fear of the unknown, or trust in “magic”.
Conspiracy: is quite literally a secret plan by a group to do something unlawful or harmful.
Observing behavioral or character traits of people that gravitate to conspiratorial type paradigms especially of the falsifiable variety i.e. lunar landings, flat earth and chemical trails seemingly manifest a type of
April is a rain month, so when you see clouds and might be tempted to think it’s “Geoengineering” it might be instructive to reflect on cycles and seasons and do a deep dive into . The change in seasons and weather has been recorded since the days of antiquity. The earliest recorded data recognizing the change in seasons can be traced back to ancient civilizations. The following highlights some key examples:
Ancient Egyptians: Around 3000 BCE, the Egyptians recognized the importance of the annual flooding of the Nile River, which was linked to the heliacal rising of the star Sirius. This event marked the beginning of the Egyptian year and the season of Akhet (inundation), followed by Peret (growing), and Shemu (harvest).
Mesopotamians: In ancient Mesopotamia (around 2000 BCE), the Sumerians and later the Babylonians observed the changes in seasons and created one of the earliest known calendars. They recognized the cyclical nature of the agricultural seasons and linked them to the lunar phases.
Ancient Chinese: The Chinese had an advanced understanding of the seasons by around 2000 BCE. They developed a lunisolar calendar that incorporated the solar terms (24 periods) to accurately reflect the seasonal changes crucial for agriculture.
Ancient Greeks: Hesiod, a Greek poet from around the 8th century BCE, wrote "Works and Days," which includes detailed descriptions of seasonal changes and agricultural advice based on these changes.
Mayan Civilization: The Mayans, around the 1st millennium BCE, had sophisticated calendrical systems, including the Haab' (a 365-day solar calendar) and the Tzolk'in (a 260-day ritual calendar), which together recognized and tracked seasonal changes. It’s part of the cycle of the earth. In the book of Genesis 1:14 “And God said, Let there be lights in the firmament of the heaven to divide the day from the night; and let them be for signs, and for seasons, and for days, and years:”
When the Jet-Stream (a ribbon of high-speed winds migrates from its position over Mexico to its summer position over Canada. As the days become longer (moving towards the summer equinox) more sunlight = more heat = more convection = more rain. (Sometimes this system stalls and doesn’t move as drastically as in the case a few years ago when we had droughts).
Mass Manipulation & Mind Control
The CIA mind reprogramming operations specifically focused on control of public thinking and consensus are deigned to keep the public in a state of fear.
Operations by the CIA in this realm have been largely secretive and explicitly targeted at public behavior modification, some projects have had unintended effects on the public due to their scope and methods. Here are five operations that have had implications for the public:
MK-Ultra Subproject 68 (Operation Midnight Climax): This operation involved the use of LSD and other drugs on unwitting individuals to study the effects of mind control. Some of these experiments took place in brothels where CIA operatives would observe the subjects' behavior. While not directly aimed at behavior modification in the general public, it did involve unwitting civilians.
Project Bluebird/Artichoke: These early precursors to MK-Ultra focused on interrogation techniques and behavior modification. While the primary targets were individuals of interest to the CIA, the research and techniques developed could potentially have broader implications.
Operation CHAOS: This operation, which ran from the 1960s to the early 1970s, involved the CIA monitoring and infiltrating anti-war and civil rights groups in the United States. While the primary goal was intelligence gathering, the operation could have had a chilling effect on public activism.
COINTELPRO: While not a CIA operation (it was conducted by the FBI), COINTELPRO targeted various activist groups, including civil rights and black power groups, as well as political organizations. The tactics used, such as infiltration, surveillance, and disinformation, could be seen as attempts at behavior modification.
Project Stargate: While not focused on behavior modification, Project Stargate did involve research into psychic phenomena and the use of psychic spies. The public revelation of this program could have had effects on public perceptions and beliefs.
So what does any of this have to do with clouds, condensation trails or the weather ?
Anything that keeps one in a state of anger or fear is a form mental manipulation. Fear or anger are the means and methods by which to control people. Appealing to superstition in the ancient times was that the “Gods” were the purveyors of good or bad weather. Conditions of which were dependent on whether the populations were “obedient” to the whims of self appointed “Mediators” in the form of Pharaohs, Kings, Sorcerers and Shaman.
The methods have been used since the days of Ishtar & Marduk - the days of ancient Babylon and Egypt.
Speaking Hypothetically: For what purpose would the Government engage in using "Flat Earth" "Geo Engineering" or Faked Apollo missions to control the public? If a government were to engage in promoting the belief in concepts such as a flat Earth, geoengineering, or faked Apollo missions to control the public, it might do so for several reasons:
Diversion and Distraction: By promoting these fringe theories, the government could divert public attention away from more pressing or controversial issues, such as political scandals or unpopular policies.
Undermining Trust in Science and Institutions: By promoting anti-science or conspiracy theories, the government could undermine public trust in scientific institutions and authoritative sources of information, making it easier to manipulate public opinion on other matters.
Testing Public Reaction: Introducing outlandish theories could be a way to gauge public reaction and test the effectiveness of certain narratives or propaganda techniques.
Creating Division and Confusion: Promoting these theories could sow division and confusion among the public, making it harder for people to come together around shared goals or beliefs.
Justification for Increased Government Control: By promoting the idea of a flat Earth or faked Apollo missions, the government could potentially justify increased surveillance or control over information to "protect" the public from supposed threats or misinformation.”
The problem with these types of conspiracies is they do not rise to the usual level of fear required to sway public opinion one way or another but rather impose schisms within primary groups that appear to serve the purpose of fragmenting what would otherwise be groups that share core values.
We must remember that the goal in any psyop is to distract or misdirect, fret or even confuse people. Unless you are well established and or well versed in any variety of the natural world disciplines or well rounded morally, one might very well be susceptible to influences that are antithetical to natural inclinations.
